Robert does your dog sleep on a hard surface? That could be causing it.

She sleeps mostly on the couch , i just don"t like to see the the spot ,not large but is there.

Robert they are called callus. My girl has them to and last year hers got kindy weepy...She kept licking them too making them worse. I posted on here and got alot of good suggestions. Maybe you could search for Callus and limping. But what ended up helping her was I used a product called New Skin a couple times a day. They don't go away but the weeping stopped! My girl too is a house dog, she sleeps on whatever she wants but usually its the floor (carpet) she prefers.
