What is the best way to start you dog on tracking. I have a 19 week old Czech/DDR pup who just finished obedience training Would love to get him started on tracking Any suggestions.

first do you want to compete in organized tracking or for real life situations where your dogs (trailing)tracks a human or even possibly air scenting?
A must read is "Scent and the Scenting Dog" by William Syrotuck
Once you make up your mind then find a club or goup to work with, makes it alot easier.
