Wondering if any one has information about Bee Pollen Supplement - A client of ours called us to see what information we have on the supplement (what we have is very little from reference books etc.) we have never experimented with or know of anyone who has... Our client uses a holistic vet who 'rated' and 'raved' about the products for all sorts of uses: The benefits are outstanding with many things ranging from compromised immune systems to liver malfunctions.  The dogs we are speaking of is an older dog who has a little bit of arthritis and as well as a weaken immune system due to a recent neuter...   From the research i've done so far - there is a slight risk of an allergic reaction to the supplement (some dogs are allergic to bees and the pollen in any form) The vet I spoke to said the risk outweighs the benefits. She said that you can test the supplement before full dosages to assure that there will not be a severe allergic reaction.    My question is: Does anyone here have any experience with this product (positve or negative)? ....If so, please share..........

Hey darlin' it's me Yvette.

I use Nupro Silver with my dogs, and it contains bee pollen among other things.  It's possible that a dog could have an allergic reaction, so I would start a new dog on small doses first.  However, I am very happy with the Nupro Silver supplement and have been using it for years now on a variety of dogs.

I cannot tell you exactly what bee pollen alone can do for a dog, as Nupro is a blend of many ingredients.  I would highly recommend your client to give it a try.  I buy it on ebay.  Best price, hands down.  :)

Several years ago I rescued a few race horses bound for slaughter. They were very pitiful the bottom of the barrel as far a race tracks go. Brought them home vetted them and started using Bee Polin as a supplement. WOW, in a matter of weeks they looked as good as the other horses in the barn  . All were found wonderful loving homes. I am a bigsupported of Bee Polen
