Jr. Handler (4 yrs old) - Page 1

So... without any pressure from me, my 4 year old daughter says she wants to train one of our dogs.  My female has way too much drive for her to handle so I thought we'd bust out the Am-bred!  I just wanted to share the video's of her first training session.  I wasn't going to do tracking with her, but she insisted!!  She even laid her own track!  That's my girl!

Very cute.

That brought a smile to my face, especially the obedience one. 

That was so pleasant to watch. It also brought a smile to my face, to see a future gsd trainer so interested. Your dog was also so gentle with your daughter, watching her and waiting for her next command.  How cute !!!

So Cute!! And what a good boy he is for her!!

That is awesome !!!   Our youth truly are our future !   Great Job for allowing her to get involved.

Of course, small children and dogs can be risky, and should be careful. It appears as though you've done just that (being careful), tried to match up a safe dog with the child, and you're closely monitoring everything. That's excellent.

An awesome sight to see, a young happy giggling child enjoying her dog. Hopefully she continues on, that's what this all is about!!
