I'm thinking about coughing up the 40 bucks and getting this video... however I would like to get some reviews (Both bad and good) on this video before buying it. If you feel comfortable sending me your reviews  by email.. please feel free... just add the topic name on the subject line so I wont mistake it as spam mail.

Oops I forgot to add something else... In your opinion.. is it worth the money? Is it very educational?

Brittany, why wouldn't you just talk to a reproductive vet if you are looking into AI?? There are reproductive vets everywhere and they are worth the extra expense... they have proven methods and procedures.

Isn't  Dr Brimacomb in your area (she may be Tampa, I'm not sure wherre you are)?? I know several people who have used her and have even seen her on Animal Planet a couple of times.

If you're seriously looking into AI, this is no time to be pinching pennies ...... you can probably do preliminary research on the internet, but working with someone in invaluable and in the long run, will save time, money.. etc..

In answer to your question, I don't have any experience with AI "by video".. anyones video

Brittany,

Here is DR. Brimacomb's contact info. They have very reasonable prices.

Hi Brittney,

Why would you want to use AA when tradional methods work fine. You have a great dog, but unlikly going to produce the next Ursas. Just wondering what your motive is. I hae seen teh Leerberg vid and IMO not worth it. I am no longer an active breeder but have bred many litters. I had a V-1 Sire years back and severl V rated Bitches. Never considered AA. Slow down, your first breeding is vey excittng but you dont need a VA dog from Germany. How about Jaguar? Great producer and here. Time flies. How old is Jaguar now?

Good luck!!

Ryan,

Natural breeding are good, however when theirs a stud dog out of states... it's actually better to use AI. call me overly protective but I do not trust anybody with my dog other than those who I know and trust with my life. I don't trust these airport workers who work in the pet department. If I remember correctly.. A well known AKC champion dog (None GSD) was suppose to be shipped back to to it's owner...but ended gone missing at the airport..

I just don't feel comfortable leaving Zambi under the care of somebody whom I never met... nor screened.

If you're talking about Jaguar von der Mäusespitz, Unfortunately he passed on. you can read more at www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/bulletins_read/74197.html

He was one heck of a gorgeous dog :)
