So this goes to show that the love for a German Shepherd never dies. This was taken when I was like 6-7.

Is that a stuffed dog on the end of the leash?

I bet it had wonderful leash manners.

I put my plastic piggy bank on the end of a leash, and pretended it was a dog!

I couldn't have a dog when we lived in Germany - Army family - so I pretended my Guinea Pig was a dog and took her for walks every day on a harness and leash.  Of course, our walks were not very far, and not very fast!

LOL I had Breyer horses I raced by throwing dice for each horses turn and moving them that many tiles on the floor. I always had a dog so my dream and yearning was for horses.

oh yes Breyer horses - I STILL have my collection!  Played for hours and hours with them - good memories.

Dogs and horses!! They seem to go together. I cannot remember when one was not part of my life. Not ever anything special to anyone else but me though, I suppose... I have 3 GSD's and 2 mares currently....

wow 4-pack that's actually a pretty clever little game!!   I tried taking my cat for a walk once, I dont recommend it.  and I put my horses saddle on our steer.  He thought it was a LOT less funny than me.
