Important new regulations for all participants at the SV-Bundessieger-Zuchtschau 2007 in Braunschweig
During the meeting of the SV-Breed commission held on April, 20, 2007 a number of regulations have been passed, which have to be considered.
1.Withdrawals
In the future the participants should be given the possibility to take their dogs out of the contest without presenting the dog to the official veterinary (obliged vet of confidence). A presentation to the veterinary would be only necessary in cases where the dog is really ill or injured.
Therefore a form“Withdrawal”will be issued by the registration office which the participant can acquire for a service fee of €20. This form filled in and signed, has to be handed over to the officiating judge at the ring where the dog is intended to start (at the latest before the beginning
of the gait examination). With handing over of the form the dog is regarded as “entschuldigt zurückgezogen” (withdrawal permitted). At the time the dog is listed for the ring withdrawal is only possible due to injury or illness confirmed by certificate from the obliged vet of confidence.
In all other cases where a dog is withdrawn without excuse a prohibition of attendance in any other event for the period of six month is imposed, as well as a prohibition of registration and the rating “not sufficient”will be a awarded.
2. Progeny / offspring-Groups
For the offspring groups only the offspring from litters is eligible where the sire was at least two years old at the time of the mating. Especially participants from foreign countries are asked to keep this in mind where the breeding regulation regarding the age are not similar to german regulations.

O.K... at least this time ...even if you think the judge didn't place you fairly or you weren't noticed at all... He will see to it that you walk out of the ring and who knows... he may remember the butt of the handler next time... :) Marci
