This is my first post!!

I am interested in folks observations/experiences with Ozzy Barnero, and more specifically anyone who might be working progeny of this Sire?

Thanks in advance for any insight you may be able to offer.

Ozzy is amazing and produces serious drive. I've met a good number of his kids and they have all blown me away. I hope this helps.

Thank you for the insight tiffae89.  Has your experience been with Ozzy's progeny in Europe or the US?

by tiffae89 on 08 August 2009 - 21:08

US. I personally have a galant daughter.

Then clearly you have firsthand experience with Eurosport K9 and their dogs.

If all goes to plan, and the breeding takes this fall, I am in line for a pup sired by Ozzy.  I am working at not getting too excited, as I am sure most know, so many variables can result in no pups....so I am attempting not to count my pup before he is hatched!!, while at the same time, enjoying studying/reading about the Sire & Dam.....and imagining the potential.

look for some other kennels also. There are some fantastic breedings happening in Fall this year. Where are you located?
cheers

Who is the breeding with? I'm very happy for you. I hated the waiting game but in the end I couldn't have been happier! Tiffany

Vikram, I am not really shopping dogs.....I train with a bitch that will be bred later this year, and I have my heart set on one of her puppies because this particular female represents just about everything I would want in a dog.  I live and train in Michigan, USA.

tiffae89, the bitch I am speaking of is Eris vom Wildhaus, and if all goes to plan, Ozzy will be the Sire of her litter.

I train with Eris and I love her.....it would save me a great deal of time if I could simply knock her owner in the head and take Eris, but more likely than not, I will have to settle for one of her puppies!!!

Although I study the pedigress of these two dogs....I am simply educating myself (I am no pedigree expert).

I know there are so many variables, I really don't want to get my hopes up.  Can we work the schedules to get these two dogs together?  When we get them together...is it successful?  If Eris has a litter, is there a male?

I am very interested in the potential of this breeding, and simply thought I could gain some insight from more experienced folks here.

Thanks again for any productive insignt you can offer.

In YOUR opinion!! I own and have owned both and have a different opinion, and I have seen Ozzy work in person, and I owned a dog out of Hagi Barnero. Ozzy is a nice dog physically and genetically.
