Hi Skywalker
Your boy's ears are up ,if I have to be real picky ,one is slightly turned out . However at his age this is normal . I take a guess this is your concern.?? if so . judging from the picture you don't have to worry at all as he gets older the ears will get stronger and be correct :))

look good to me for his age and those are big ears Provide him with cow hooves or round steak bones dailly and let him work those jaws....chewing not tugging....make sure he doesnt have an inner ear fungi deep down and holding it awrey....

To add on to his growth quality...use gelatin powder ( Jello ) and ester C (Vit.C) and add it regularly in his daily rations... you can still add milk at this age but make sure he chews his food (try using croquette shaped dogfud which is larger in bite sizes) Remember chewing will help make his jaws stronger to support the ears (can make his bite wider ,teeth stronger and jello which is collagen can also improve the growth of his coat) Avoid using mineral supplements at this age... I used to give CaPO4 milk tabs before but now I opt to give RAW CHICKEN HEADS and NECKS (remove the beak of course)...If you're too critical with one ear turning out... gentle massage on both ears can help blood circulate through it...
Have a nice day :) Marci

Marci: How early to you start puppies on the raw necks and wings and liver?
by marci on 12 June 2007 - 17:06
As soon as all permanent teeth showed UP... Chewing makes them stronger...I'm just avoiding mineral supplements and Chicken heads and neck is a dood source of one... I started mine at 5-6 months when all permanent teeth showed up and the ears were almost up

Milk- You should only use Goats milk, not cows milk, hard to digest and causes diarreha. Lots of chewing as posted above.

Have given Rikka raw chicken necks since a pup.the bones are round and soft and pass through the dog, plus she is crazy for them. I am also big on beef or buffalo shanks if the dog is not such an aggressive chewer that they might break teeth.
