Just read on another board he was allegedly sold again? Is this fact or fiction?

If it's fiction, how about an update on his current status from his new owner?

Any new litters expected from him other than the one Springfalls Shepherds advertised?

Also, the dog bought to replace him, Jim, is up for sale. He only lasted from last fall.

Honestly I think Bobans bloodline is one of the best there is! I would love to mate my female with him anytime.  He has good structure, big head, nice black sable color, great drives, and all his siblings are very good looking.  If I can find any of his siblings to mate with my dark sable female with I would be more then happy to pay.  Just because he didnt turn out to be what someone wanted doesnt mean all his offsprings or siblings turned out the same way.  It had alot to do with how he was brought up I believe. The owners of his siblings are very happy and I would be also to own such an awesome bloodline!

So why not go to Chip Weiss and Cimmerian german shepherds?  Iltis von der wildsau has very very similar lines without the baggage

Wolfman, you didn't mention anything about nerves in the characteristics you like in Boban.

by DnD on 12 June 2007 - 18:06

BlackSable,

Weren't you the last owner?  Why did you sell if you don't mind me asking.

by wolfman73 on 13 June 2007 - 03:06

Nerves dogman? You really need me to get that specific?  His nerves speaks for itself if you know so much about the dog then you wouldnt need to ask such a question, and as for the next bright question from DND is really funny also or just that stupid because if the way i was praising Bobans bloodline and how I wanted it, if I did own boban why the heck  would i give him up?  I just know that not eveyone will agree with me, but one bad dog from the litter especially if its the the raising from my point of view means that the rest of his bloodlines are like that.  I never hear any of you guys say anything about any of his siblings.  Its always boban this and boban that.  The rest turned out great obviously since no one on this forum can say anything bad about them so really dont blame the bloodline thats ignorance!  Alot of that maybe had to do with the owner raising him and no one here can actually say they were there 24 hrs a day and night to say he was brought up correctly or incorrectly.

DnD's last post was not intended for you. Re-read, it is addressed to BlackSable. BlackSable was the last person to own Boban. Hope this helps.

Yes, I was asking Black Sable why they sold him.  I have a Boban puppy...She is brilliant.
