Yea I know, it would be perfect if they were striaght, but I couldnt tell from where I was standing. I might go back out later and try for another.

Brittt" do you  mean that he needs to slant a little more to the front  in other words do you get him to lean into the front , making his chest come a little more in line with feet?  Ive never stacked a dog   I have a puppy, but not  an older one ...Good pic of Car   Doing quite well, Kelly...I have one of my sables in a stack I did many years ago, but had 15 people in the club doing it for me and with me and then I ran out of way   ....I dont know how to put pics on here, so I wont share her with you..

The front legs on Car is not positioned correctly. The fronts need to be straight up... like a line. If you go to my website http://germanshepherdlitters.com/ you can see a picture of Jake. This is a near perfect stack shot of him. If you notice on his fronts.. it's perfectly straight.

I would also suggest to take the prong collar off and use a fur saver instead when stacking the dog up.

By the way to get a better idea of how to stack the dog up properly.. is to get a URMA book and get an idea of what the dog should look like when stacked.

For experienced people they would say the dog is posting.

Ok. I took a new one. Its not great either but better. I still used the prong collar. He is too young and high drive to use anything else. He also isnt used to being stacked up often. He is getting better though. Thanks for the suggestions, it helps alot. Critique the new picture also. I know there are alot of things wrong with it that I cant see.

IMO the second shot is better but his front legs are still a bit forward. If you can pick up on him just behind his elbows and set him down. That should help (if he holds it) to get his front in position. Whoever is taking the photo is a bit behind him, they should get as close to the center of him and on his level as possible and snap the shot pointing at his middle piece. You could also try a shot a bit in front pointing to the rear and see how that looks too. It is so hard getting a good photo.

KellyJ, This pic might give you an idea on stacking. Not looking for opinions on my stacking but just trying to give an idea on what it looks likes.
