Would have driven over from Atlanta, Georgia this weekend if I had seen the original ad and could contact the owner. I second VomMarischal's question, "are breeders NOT taking their dogs back anymore?"

The dog was Katana vom Mystical Haus- Hessel daughter out of nothing I remember recoginizing on the dam's side.

Very sad that any dog is on CL, especially a working dog, as their temperaments are even harder to find good homes for sometimes.

Breeders in our area are definately NOT taking their pups back. We are in Central PA and have had several pure bred GSD dogs with AKC paperwork turned into our local shelter. When breeders are contacted they always say how horrible then proceed to say they just had a litter of pups or are full etc. Really makes you sick.

No jenni you are a good breeder, wish ones in our area did that!! I think if you put the dog on this earth you should be there for the rest of that pups life.

there's a couple people who frequent this board who know the owner and can contact them, including the breeder.

"The Breeder" here, checking in.

     I spoke with the owner the last time she had her listed on CL. She said she changed her mind and took her back down. She said she was going to keep her.

     Of course she did not contact me to say she was going to place Two Face up for sale again. I see she also has her listed here on the PDB as well.

     I am a breeder that takes my puppies back. It is in my contract that I get first right of refusal. The Seller did not let me know she was placing Two Face or I would have tried to get her back!

     I am contacting her seller tonight to express my concern and see what I can do.

I hope you can get her back, I remember last time the owner stated she would trade for a blk/red female of wg showlines, guess she changed her mind on owning a sable workingline.
