how often is normal for a bitch to go into heat? and how often do yours go?

twice a year some times every 4 months which I believe one is a false heat //////two of mine come in every 4 months and ive bred before and on one of the heats nothing resulted....so females are females who knows a vet can tell if she is post whatever...Im too tired to know the name tonight....

mine does every four months, along with my boss' female. so every 6 is normal? how would you know if it was false heat? do certain lines seem to go in more often? i just want some insight and input. thank you all.
