Hi, Does anyone know the steps to teach the crawl command? and at what age to start? Thank you

In our hobby advance class, we do crawl.  Any age of dog can learn it.  Put the pup/dog in a down, get down with them.  Hold a treat in front of them and while saying the crawl command over and over, and with your hand on their back so that they can't stand up, have them follow the treat.  Even if the pup/dog moves slightly forward with out trying to rise up, say good crawlll and give them the treat.  Do this over and over and they will get it sooner than later.

I too wanted to teach my dog how to do this.  Thanks Shepherd Woman!  I think I'm gonna go try this today since it's nice and dry outside.
