Dog breeders in CA continue to campaign to have this bill defeated in the state senate.

Any one that reads this thread, read also the thread by Harddawg titled AB 1634 Ca Healthy Pets Act.
There are some tangible things everyone can do where ever you live. It is amazing to me how so many will follow along like sheep with some morons thinking with out having an once of discernment to see through it. Gee, does that sound familiar. We are talking about basic constitutional rights here.

Yes, there are on-line petitions and phone numbers to call opposing this bill. I've listed all of this a few times here, but not many seemed interested, so I didn't push it. I have a lot of information and links for anyone who is interested, let me know,  or you can just google AB1634 and will get plenty of hits. I have a lot of dog friends in CA, some of who have spearheaded quite an effective campaign to see this bill defeated in the senate. A few are pro handlers and trainers who will loset the bulk of their income in the future should this bad law pass.  One of my friends there has a lot of celebrity connections and Ted Nugent has joined the fight to defeat this bill. He himself owns and breeds hunting dogs.

Olskoolgsds, some people I've talked to feel they don't need to get involved since they don't live in CA or that the bill will never pass the senate vote. It is foolish to think that way since if it should pass in CA it will set a terrible precedence for dog breeders everywhere and it won't be long before it will be introduced in other states. Also, there is around a 50/50 chance that it will indeed pass senate vote. Enforcing it may be quite another issue and will cost the taxpayers of that state many millions of dollars which Levine is failing to address. He has his own agenda and says - so what if people can't buy a pet in CA, they can buy one imported from Asia and wholesaled at a local pet shop. AB 1634 is not a joke.

If you think it will end in CA your saddley mistaken. Arizona, Washington, Nevada usually are not to far behind whatever we pass. So I would give us a hand here.......
