i just wanted to share that i had to put my cat , justin down today, i know not a gs, but he was my bubby and my dogs buddy, the best cat i've ever had, he had some kind of posion, he fought a good fight for the last couple days, but my vet told me his kidneys were shot, it so sucks, they take a little of you with you when they pass, hes was with us for 8yrs, he use to keep me company when cleaning kennels and the yard, he use to run to meet my truck when i pulled in the driveway and he use to wait in the morning w/ me & and my son for the bus,i have a great picture of him laying on my gs,if i knew someone w/ a scanner id post it,he was very loved........

I'm so sorry for your loss.  He sounds like he was your little shadow.  Hoping your heart heals with time.

venzosmom, you go right ahead and tell us about your kitty. I am sure Rainbowbridge does not care if he was not a GSD, Working line, showline, White, LC , Stock Coat, Black or Sable. The only thing that matters here is he was loved.  Sorry for your loss.

I lost my favorite cat also last year. He was more dog than cat. rode in the car, was my pillow at night. Sniper was a good kitty. I'm not a big cat person but there are some great ones out there. It's always hard to say goodbye, cat/dog/human, they are all loved. Sorry for your loss. Maybe my Sniper will keep him company at the Rainbow Bridge.

I am sorry for your loss, I too lost our dog 3 weeks ago, Prince our malamute was also 8 yrs old. He had bad hips and fought a good fight for 7 of those 8 years. I hope they are playing together in heaven...sending hugs your way.

Sorry for your loss. Last year my daughter lost her cat that she had for 17 yrs, and I lost my GSD that I had for 9 yrs, all within a 5 month period.

They all have their own little personalities that make them so special.
