This is a plea for all GSD lovers. There is an older, bi color male German Shepherd, who was left on the streets by his family to fend for himself. He was "found" in the middle of no where, with no drag marks, or anything to indicate he had traveled to this location, in this condition on his own. He can not use his back legs, but has very strong front end support, and does appear to have bowel / bladder control. He is a large very beautiful boy who longs for a family, to love him the way he is. We are also seeking donations to help him get a set of wheels (which is currently running $450 - $500, of which we have $150 so far) he is a very gentle soul, who would do good in just about any environment. The vet did say he would be a "full functioning" dog, if he had a cart/back end support. He has the desire to do things, he just can't understand why he can't seem to convince his legs to follow...... if you can help by donating to his cart, or even offer him a loving, permanent home, please e-mail us. He is located on the West Coast (CA/NV) and transport can definitely be arranged for anyone interested in offering their home to this magnificent boy. (TexasK9Importer@aol.com)*He will be headed to a foster home in Southern California this week, and they did say they could arrange to drive him to his new home, or meet his new family part way (United States Only, unless someone from Canada wanted to make the arrangements, and meet his foster at the border)  : ) HIS PHOTO'S CAN BE SEEN HEREhttp://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/classifieds/41531.html

I don't know why that link isn't working, his pictures are under "Males For Sale" under "Bi Color Male. He really is a gorgeous boy...

What a very sad story, He is handsome.   I wish you luck in finding him the perfect home.  Can you post an address where to send donations too, I have a friend I just told about this guy and he would be happy to donate abit to his "new wheels".

All I know at this time, is the donation address for (PayPal) is: Animal_Rescue_Foundation@hotmail.com

and for donations, please put "For Vegas K9 (Otto)" in the subject/donation line. I can get the physical address for the foster home that will be taking him in, if they will allow me to post that.

It is with a heavy heart, that I must report, this male was sent to the bridge. Upon a full vet inspection, it was found that he had far more damage than what was visible. He had been left in that condition for quite some time, and had too much going on (inside and out). So the decision was made by his two rescue angels and a vet, to have him euthanized. He was very, very sweet and did not deserve any of the pain and suffering he had to endure. I hope his owners rott in hell, and have to one day feel the same pain and loveless life he did.

In the end, at least he was given love and affection, going to the bridge, knowing someone did care...
