I am wondering if an experienced person can advise me on what to look for in a male pup of about 17 weeks old in terms of analyzing if he will have a suffeciently a masculine head. Can you tell at 17 weeks old if his head will be suffiently masculine

I remember being told to look for a pup that does not look like a GSD when very young ...to quote him "Look for someone who looks more of a Rottweiller than a GSD and grips immediately when provoked..."   LOL ...I cannot help but smile when I remember that trainers face...

Nevertheless checkout  this link I caught here in PDB... I think and hope it could help puppy buyers what to look for in a pup in the conformation department....

From Vegas (the rising star) who is out of OUTCRROSS breeding...

note: he is not ROACH  (trying to educated Working line guys) look at the 4th picture definitely short back and long croup... you will see this guy in future events and I've heard kennel "von Batu" leads the concern of ridding the VA lines of Banana backs at least in their kennel...

just my two cents everybody...
