Because of all of the issues with food, toothpaste, etc. I would get her to a vet. I would not worry, they do get sick,  but a check up is in order. I would try and get some pedilite down her unitl you can get to the vet.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I had a female Mal that got sick every time she went into heat. I just spayed her becasue at that time I wanted to compete more than I wanted to breed.

Not uncommon don't stress to much.

Women and their damn hormones, huh?

well i wasn't worried till the wife said she wouldn't eat and hasn't been drinking much today. sorry but i'm in iraq and this is going on in kansas.  so i didn't know if this was normal or semi/normal? thanks everyone she will be going to the vet in the morning just to make sure!

If she is not eating or drinking, that's a problem. Check your dog food. This is what happens when they go into kidney failure. Have the vet do bloodwork.

How old is she?

by gsdlvr2 on 03 June 2007 - 18:06

What is her temperature?  Is she acting normal?

by KKR_Gsd02 on 03 June 2007 - 18:06

well the wife just said she got her out of the crate to take her out and all the sudden she went and drank 1/2 the bowl of water and was starting to act more normal again? but she's going to take her to the vet's in the morning when they open at 8, unless she starts acting funny again. then she will go today. she's 11mo. i think like i said i'm here and don't have any of her paperwork. she's was imported at 7-8mo old. again thanks for everything to everyone on the board. being deployed isn't the easiest and thing's like this send the stress levels way over the boiling point. so again thanks, and she's going to see if she'll eat anything now.

sincerely,

  kenny

God bless you for the job you're doing there.  Try not to worry about things at home.  I hope you're pup is back to herself soon.
