I had imported a dog from a breeder in the Netherlands in 2005, I was told I would receive papers at a later date which to this date I haven't. Any suggestions on getting the AKC papers & the Pink papers. The dog was from a show line, at least that was what I was told, but I have nothing to show for it, besides a great dog! He has his passport with info. I would like to know if I was scammed, and if my dogs parents are truely the parents in which I was told. Thanks

If the dog is SV registered you can file for lost papers. Contact the SV for what you need to do.

If the dog came from a breeder in the Netherlands the dog is not SV registered.... it will be registered with the Raad van Beheer (www.kennelclub.nl).
