Thanks for the comments.  I took him out and took a new pic.  But when it's only he and I out there, WHY does he think he needs to look at me?  LOL

Nice!  Did you tint the fence blue in the picture?  I seem to remember it being a more muted tone.

I just hit enhance color in my software and it I guess enhanced it some.  That's our garage in the back ground of the pic.

Uh huh.  A little too much color saturation.  It's starting to look unnatural.  I have this problem too with my software, that if I use the "auto fix" feature it usually adds too much color, and the pictures start looking fake.  I have to manually reduce the saturation to get the colors back to where they should be.  You may have the same problem with your software.

Keep playing with your software, your camera, and your dog.  If you browse through some of the web sites for the high end kennels you can get good ideas of how a professional would compose a picture. 

Believe me, nothing I do is a result of my own genius.  I just look, ask, and learn.  Have fun!
