Ok, not trying to toot my own horn but holy cow what a great idea I came up with...
Labels to attatch to permanent vaccination records.
We all have computers, most have printers, Get some labels, and for your deworming section on the permanent vaccination record that you provide to your puppy buyers make your own labels with your own abreviations mine are as follows with the dilutions included
PP=Pyrantel Pamoate 50mg per ml
PZ= Praziquantel 7.75%
IV= Ivermectin 1.55%
FB=Fenbendazole 22.2%
P-17=Piperazene 17gm per 100 cc
These all fit on a single label and I printed a full sheet of these and then just place them onto the Permanent Vaccination Records for the buyers of the pups, that way the new vet can see exactly what was used and in what concentration on what dates. This is the neatest thing I've ever come up with, well besides our Permanent Vaccination Records themselves, those are way cool too
they include: a photo of GSD on the front(mine of course), Dogs name, DOB, AKC Reg#, Microchip#, all on the front, (they fold in 1/2) on first 1/2 inside is completely dedicated to Vaccinations (excluding Rabies) 2nd 1/2 inside is dedicated to deworming room for date and product used. back side is for Rabies Vaccinations, Date Tag# Year and Due again, the bottom portion is for Surgeries & Other.
They are really nice and My vet absolutely loves them !!!!
anyway thought I would pass that along, I know my fingers get tired of filling out all those big words for dewormers used for puppies and this so makes this easier also I'm sure the vets will appreciate knowing exactly what concentrate was used as well as the product, and I never had enough room for all of that before but now simple abreviations can be used and the vet will know exactly what each one means.
