I was wondering what anyone could tell me about Etzel or any of the other Stadtfeld dogs? Like what they bring to the table or any other info. I think he is a gorgeous dog. He is my boy's grt grandfather on his dam's side. I have seen the name in several working pedigrees. Because I don't understand German I cannot even read his Koer report. Thanks in advance.

Etzel died just a couple of month ago. I own a Etzel daughter and she is just somthing !! Great and easy in Obedienec, fantastic in Protectionwork and her tracking is not from this world !!! She turns 4 in June and she has SchH 2 and in September she made the 3 and the qualification for the LGA. All Etzel kids i have seen are just outstanding dogs !! I hope that i help you a little bit. I have an Etzel daughter also. In his progeny I see the same type as Etzel-large head and bone, good structure. My female is a very solid 3 phase dog, powerful, excellent temperament and nerves, a female at the higher end of the standard for size. She definitely has the head and bone he passes on. Thanks for the replies. What super looking dogs out of Etzel and super pedigrees. Thanks for sharing your first hand knowledge. Sorry that he died. When I went to pick up my pup I met and fooled with his mom, who is an Etzel granddaughter and she was super. Looks, high drives, intelligence and a super temperament.
