This is my most favorite picture that I've taken of Chaos so far.  The day that he finished and we hung all of his ribbons so far above him.  I can't wait to go after his Grand Championship now! : - }

Ty so much, marci.  Believe it or not, it means a lot to me to get such great comments like yours.  I've worked hard with him on his stack and in the show ring.  The first time I went in the ring with him 4 weeks ago!, never showing before in my life, the judge asked me to stack him and that's what we came up with.  He had never stacked before, and I had never attempted it until we stepped into the ring.  Talk about a crash course, lol, we had it!  He did great in the ring by the way.  The judges said he's a natural.  I hope he continues to like doing it.  I plan on taking him out there a lot in our area.  Thanks again for the comments.

Your dog is GOREGEOUS! :D I just love his smile... Is that his personality? Mr. Smiley, eh? :)

By the way Ms. Sheprd. (pardon my abbreviation...your callname is long, you know??)

Regarding your questions about the terminologies and abbreviations about our beloved breed, a very nice place to start reading will be to the LEFT panel of this site (history and all)... I think Oli is very busy upgrading the systems and I've heard there will soon be a downtime for the messageboard. One nice thing to do is reading some of the articles and FYI's available in the site, also checking on some archive topics in the messageboard... some maybe very intriguing and controversial and its a nice way of opening topics that could be very helpful for newcomers like you.

I could also recommend checking out other breeders websites and weblinks like:

http://www.videxgsd.com/SHOW_LINES_WORKING_LINES.htm

http://www.leerburg.com/articles.htm#breedgsd

 ...so that you can start learning what changes and evolution the GSD went through to look and do work what it is today...hope youn enjoy the board company and remember not everyone in the board is the same (as in the temperaments of GSD's... some may be aloof and like the Germans way of thinking "the all knowing"... you wont get answers just by asking... YOU HAVE TO DIG IN the pile of research done about our breed)

 regards...

Marci
