I have a 9mth old  working line male who is growing like the clappers. I have heard some clicking in his back end every now and then when he walks in a circle. He doesn't show any signs of being lame or any assocciated pain, in fact he is extremely agile and has tonns of drive. He has full extension and moves freely. I have read that if he is not stiff or lame in the back end that it's more likely to be a growth spirt. I going to get him checked out as a precaution.

Has anyone else experienced this before?

Yes and the dog's hips were fine.

The only way you can tell anything, good or bad, is with an x-ray.  Anything else is just guessing.
