I have just contacted sunset and vine and was told to call channel 4 complaints department. the number for that is 08450760191.

I suppose the other alternative is to make a complaint to Ofcom, if enough people do then Channel 4 could be forced to issue a public apology. I believe Clare Balding has already been in trouble for making thoughtless comments in the past, I'm thinking of the way she made fun of the winning jockey's teeth in last years Grand National.

As far as I'm concerned there is no such breed as an Alstatian, our breed is called a German Shepherd Dog and nothing else.
The name Alstatian came from a time when we were anti German and a war had just finished, and the sooner the KC loses this prefix the better.
