Mobjack, I didn't bring anything here.  These programs were put in place in my absence and have allegedly been selectively applied.  But don't believe me, do your own research, come to your own conclusions.  And for those that don't like my posts, and think they are nionsense and a waste of time, the solution is simple.  Just don't read them.

Do ya all think we are in a strong recovery?  Is there any difference between Obama and Bush2.  Why do so many folks inside the beltway call Obama bush-lite?  Actually he has started even more illegal, unprovoked wars than bush1&2 (he has started the recent new undeclared, illegal wars in pakistan, Libya, Yemen and one other--six in process one more coming soon if he follows orders).  Rep. Ron Paul has stated that the US cannot afford to fight any wars right now that we are essentially bankrupt. Creeping tyranny costs a lot of money, yours and mine.  The only new jobs are working for the govt in security functions or other related roles.

For a bit of clarification, I'll only say that I've been fully "vetted" more than a few times in my life. Having said that, and read a lot of what you've posted and your opinions, here's mine.

I don't doubt one bit that operations like fast and furious exist. I know they do and I don't need to research anything. My opinion is that you see conspiracy where there is none and a slow leak as a full blown torrent. You read too much and sometimes a step back and a look with just a little common sense can show you just how much bunk is on the table.

A 911 conspiracy theory? To a certain point, I can believe there was prior knowledge and not enough done in a timely manner that could possibly have stopped it. A complete government conspiracy with loaded tanker jets controlled by the Air Force in order to provide a motive for war on five different fronts? NO. I knew someone who died aboard Flight 93. I've heard the voicemail this person left calling their loved ones while on that flight. Some of my friends and relatives were at Ground Zero during the rescue operations. I have friends who were working in the Pentagon that day.

Secret logging, surfing and trolling of international forums? I wouldn't doubt a bit there is some of certain key and heavily active forums and I'd also bet a dollar that it differs from country to country. This forum? Certainly not. It's asinine. It's a dog board owned by a guy in Iceland and not a national security threat to anyone. Someone asked you to post all this here on this forum specifically? I'm highly skeptical to say the least but I don't think anyone has a problem with you posting it. To be clear, I certainly don't. I've said on here myself many times, if you don't like it, don't read it.

I don't care what someones credentials are. Records and documents are faked all the time. The only man that knows the real truth is the one that actually pulled the trigger. Lies are spread purposely in order to hide the truth. The actual truth about a lot of things will never be known. IMO that's the way it should be.

The press. Many years ago we had "reporters". They "reported" the news. Just the facts, no opinion, no speculation and the story was held until the facts were in. Today, we have CNN, FOX, etc and "live on scene" 24/7. It's the best drama in the world. Bill Clinton was a known womanizer and the US was made a international laughingstock not only because of his behavior but also due to the media's absolute facination with every gory detail. What about JFK? He was just as bad, if not worse. The difference? The press then had scruples and knew when to keep their damn mouth shut over someone's personal business/scandal for the greater good.

BTW, we are not technically "at war" with anyone. The US has not declared war since WWII.

No matter if I agree or disagree with what's going on overseas or in the "political realm", I support our troops 110% and always will. My family has always been military and served honorably all the way back to the Revolution. Korea, "the forgotten war". Those men and women were forgotten. Vietnam, our boys were spit on and called baby killers when they came home. They were garbage. Today, we have people cursing and picketing our troops at their funerals. Holding signs saying "God hates fags" "Burn in Hell". The government is cutting vets benefits left and right. You lost both legs? So sorry, you've got tricare, go to the regular hospital the VA can't help you now. Can't pay the deductible? So sorry. Many of my family and friends are also police and firefighters. They also get my 110% support for the thankless jobs they do. Back in the day, they were respected and kids were taught to "find a cop if you're lost" and "go to the firehouse if you need help". Today, cops are bad and out to get you. Watch out for the man! Firefighters, first responders, they're cussed and threatened for not getting there quick enough or not doing enough. Politics and bureauocrats tie their hands. Our kids are babied, pampered, given everything under the sun and we're raising the most self entitled, lazy, mentally deranged, physically decrepit generation ever. ADD, ADHD, PTSD, depression, panic attacks, allergies, self control problems, children dressed like streetwalkers. But they can all Facebook and text 90 words a minute! Any high school or middle school can tell you the truth and the parents wear blinders and junior can do no wrong. Our elderly are forgotten and abused. Choosing between buying medications or food or heating fuel. What happened to helping out, giving up a seat, holding doors open, yes sir, no ma'am? Our elderly used to be revered, taken care of and looked up to. What a sad world.

Is it like this everywhere? No and I hope it never will be. I choose to see the good in people and the effort they make to do the right thing. As I said before. Just two words. Attitude and Respect.

We all make our own choices. Conspiracy, mind control, constant monitoring, gestapo/KGB type tactics? Maybe so, maybe not, maybe to a degree. We are fortunate to live in the United States. Our Constitution guarantees us certain rights. Including the right to overthrow our own government by force if necessary. No one else in the world has what we have. The solution is simple. The American public needs to change their attitude and start giving and demanding a bit of respect all the way around.
