The saddest thing in all of this is that you are celebrating being ingrained with ignorance. Had you learned your religious lessons in Church and your factual lessons in school, you would at least have had the ability to choose. You weren't given that choice and that's exactly what religion seeks. They don't want you to see the "other side" in the light of day, because they would lose their power. Those who walk in the realm of truly seeking knowledge are more secure in their faith, they don't feel the need to force it upon society at large. They would be the ones content in their beliefs, while still respecting that others have their own opinions, without ignoring the facts.
You are entitled to your own opinions, but you are not entitled to your own facts.
You are entitled to your own opinions, but you are not entitled to your own facts.

You know,
kids do not need to be victims of any outside group religious or not, and that includes recruiters from the various armed services, it also includes politicians.
At least until they attend a college, where such knowledge is appropriate.
They are in school to learn and that's hard enough with the substandard teachers we inflict upon them as it is.
Religion belongs in the home and church, not in a public classroom.

" As for injecting politics yes off topic, and you sound like a sore loser who can't get past it."
When BE asked you, Moons, "what has 'evolved' before your eyes?", I knew the answer wasn't the Hulk who actually mutated due to an experiment gone bad. Obama was the number one answer because he actually said he had evolved. Not off topic, not any kind of loser. I guess you just didn't get it. More of a dish it out kind of person, huh?
Hint: Everything is political.

More of a dish it out kind of person?
Make a hoe,
you call it whatever you want.
I don't give a shit who's in the Whitehouse or what party you belong to if any.
Nor do I want to argue about politics, who did this or who did that, he said she said.
The elections are over.
Yeah I can dish it out, I can take it too, and I can throw it right back in your face if I choose.
So..... Bite me.
I am evolving am I not?

***Those who walk in the realm of truly seeking knowledge are more secure in their faith, they don't feel the need to force it upon society at large***.
Really Travels.
I understand you are an Atheist. 1.6% of the US population are indeed Atheist.
If what you said is true, than why are Atheist suing to remove the ten commandments from Government Building, why are they suing to remove Nativity scenes from small town commons. Sure doesn't bode to well for those secure knowledge seeking people you claim to be. Sure sounds like Atheist are trying to FORCE it upon society at large.
This country is SUPPOSED to be of the people, by the people, for the people. Instead we are now a country of the offended, by the offended, and for the offended.
Personally I think the courts and the government should tell that 1.6 % to take a hike.

Ninja,
the face of the people is changing and they represent many faiths and no faith, races other than white, that's what it's all about.
The old guard is gonna have to give way to the new.
Your no longer the majority.

Ninja, I don't believe I've said what my beliefs are, or lack thereof. Does it really matter? Religious symbolism has no place on the public square, where neutrality should reign. Do you realize how many religious people agree with that? Some people realize that they are free to practice their religion and leave others to their own. You are free to deck out your house and your Church in all of the religious regalia for all to see and enjoy ----> or not. When it's in its proper place, tough shit if anyone is offended. I'd be the first to come to the defense!
I have a simple question for you though, Does your God really require MY blessing in order to be? If not, my conscience is my own and I really don't think it's any of your business. But then, I'm not the one forcing it on anyone, now am I?
And BTW, try, 18-20%, but it doesn't really matter if it's one person. That's what that "People" quote is all about, ALL of the people, not the favored.
