Now for some more information on the BATF secret operation Fast & furious that may end Attorney General Eric Holder's career, may end Janet Napolitano's career and may set off a Constitutional crisis. Storm clouds are brewing. Guess what, the head of the BATF says he won't take a fall for the program and has stated that "higher ups" ordered it.

One more thing. I believe that folks using Oli's great site and forums should be civil and not engage in cyber stalking, revealing identities, personal addresses especially of single women. This can be prosecuted under cyber stalking laws and even if beaten can cost a lot of money for a good defense. A person who violates the law is easily found out via URLs. If the URL is spoofed then of course one can still use the imbedded special and largely unknown chip and router id numbers once the subpoena's are issued. Of course all it takes for a search warrant now days is a complaint signed by a citizen with some email or posting copies (within the statute of limitations). Then a signed affidavit from a undercover officer who has come on board to probe the accused to see if they repeat the previous pattern of abuse. This kind of direct evidence is not necessary but makes it easier to get a search warrant and a conviction. Some counties and state police have covert cyber crime investigators like certain federal task forces and the fbi that will respond to complaints, especially when made by older women who live alone and can show a history of printed copies of emails showing harassment, exposure of personal addresses, name etc. which can be used to bring abuse, undue attention or villification.
This is one area where creeping tyranny has NOT occurred and law enforcement is actually doing quite a good job in general in the larger cities and counties. Yes cyber stalking laws (fed & state)are still inconsistently enforced but nonetheless a constant threat to the serial insulter, anme/addres dicloser and cyber stalker of women, especially older single women,a nd if they are stalked for personal religious reasons this can be chatrged up as a hate crime in some jurisdictions I have been told. Most cases receive little media attention but are resolved by very effective police action. I give most cyber crime units an A- or a B+ for their quality work nowdays, especially in regard to men stalking single women and older women. Of course once they seize all the hardrives and mirror the server drives, it is quite easy to recover previously "erased" user data on the user's hard-drives which is almost always recoverable by forensic specialists using electronic microscopy and sophisticated software. Perhaps a thread should be started on this. Certainly there must be a great deal of helpful information the law enforcement foks that visit this site can provide. If there is an interest, perhaps someone can start a thread on this timely and interesting subject.
I know of one case now that may be in the exploratory stages involving someone that has used this forum (hint, hint).

More criticism of the BATF and Justice Dept for bungling this case. The reasons why are beyond the scope of this line of posts but suffice it to say that the bungling may have been intentional from the top down. Want to guess why??? Can you spell the word high level Govt c o r r u p t i o n? Now this great agent has to fend for himself. he is suing because of this bungled case. Is this the way we want our police officers treated, especially those who place their lives in extrem risk 24/7 on these difficult undercover jobs?

Boy these false allegations are starting to pile up.
Hey Preston,
What happens to those who make false police reports and waste the alphabets time?

Most depts can looks at copies of emails and easily authenticate them with certain procedures I'll not go into here. Abuse over time to single older women will eventually get litigated in my experience. Prosecutors and Juries do not like this kind of cyber harassment/crime and the age of the folks involved, sex of the perp/accused, prior history of belligerence that can be documented all figure in and an abusive attitude and long track records is usually something that motivates law enforcement to make a case and charge a suspect. If there is evidence of actual physical stalking or perceived threats of such, then perps can get charged up fast in some jurisdictions. I worked on one case where the forensics were nothing short of miraculous. Of course in the victim is judged to be a vulnerable adult, then the prosecutors can get pretty tough quickly in many jurisdictions. Not a smart idea to cyber harass and older person who may be a vulnerable adult under state law, or if that person has any kind of disability or handicap. Best to be cautious and use good sense and politeness.
I have seen a number of folks who thought they were big shots who were habitual bullies and stalkers end up being taken down even on somewhat flimsy evidence because of their belligerance and certain "aggravating circumstances" when abusing their extensive computer skills. Always best to obey the law because bullies do tend to cross that line and do get caught eventually in many cases. Even a misdemeanor or a civil charge can get expensive and very, very aggaravating. So I always warn folks to be cautious and stay on the right side of the cyber laws, especially when dealing with older individuals or posters known to older single women. The more computer training and software skills one has the more intent hey are assumed to have when charged with cyber crimes. That's just the way it usually works.
Yes, cyber crimes, cyber stalking, forensics, encase, electro-microscopic examination for binary data, etc. are very interseting subjects and could make a nice new subject area if anyone is interested. If someone starts the thread I'll proably jump in and share too if I have something relevant to contribute..

If you know something just come out and say it, or send them all a copy of all your evidence SP, once and for all, stop dangling your sword as "king of false accusations heaped upon".
Certain people weren't nice to you, and you aren't nice to them back. We get it , but there has to be an end.
