"""And yet he was legally able to buy guns. Makes me go, HUH and DUH all at the same time. All the rest is just sad and I mean all of it."""
GSDadmin, I suggest you go online and pull up the federal form that needs to be filled out before a backround check is phoned in to Washington DC and a gun is legally purchased. I don't think you would be making that comment if you read the form...

Wow. What a read. I am up to the fourth grade.

Bee,
I read through it last night in little over an hour...well, not every word but I got to the end at least.
ML,
I know the form and still I'm wondering was he a US citizen.
Either way he checked the box no where he should have checked yes.
The background check if for criminal, not medical, a gaping loop hole I agree, but somewhere in there is privacy, it's a real problem for sure.

Careful, the web is going to get blamed.

I'm just wondering what you think made Elliot do it beetree.
I think Elliot acted for the cameras, knowing it's being placed online. You are watching his past in your present.

GSDLineage... I will surely give my comments when I have finished it all....He's in Santa Barbara now... ! Just got drunk on the vodka the Russian bought for him.
There is plenty to say! I think he was dwelling more on the movie ... "Alpha Dog"! I'll have to look that one up. Can't recall if I've seen it, myself.
At this time, I am thinking: I don't see the obsession with WoW as paralleling the reasoning for the obsession with online gaming, as being in the same vein as Adam.
I think I should finish the whole thing to keep my impressions .... justifiably fair!

He purchased the gun in 2012?, half were killed/injured with non gun weapons. That is severe. Lanza makes a better case for gun control, but those were not his. Also, If they were legal, then law enforcment would have known about their existance? Bee, you set the topic, now your just talking wierd.

Students and community members gathered at Anisq'Oyo' Park in Isla Vista on the evening of May 24 for a candlelight memorial to remember the victims.[91][92] In addition, the pastor of Isla Vista Church, one of the locations targeted by gunfire during the attacks,[35] made church members "available throughout the weekend for students who would like to receive prayer or need to talk."[93][94]

My Prediction:
I will not be surprised at all when Peter Rodger directs or produces a movie or documentary about the evil and tragedy that is his son's legacy. It will be an ironic twist to "My Twisted World", as this will turn out to be a lucrative endeavor.
I can also see it produced as a montage with the twisted world of Adam Lanza, comparing the similarities and the differences to both mass killers.
It will demand our attention to act and examine gun ownership rights in the hands of the mentally ill; the status quo will be challenged.
