Max, I guess I'm wrong, but I thought you were in Europe in those years? When did you run across the country and catch all those shrimp on "Jenny"? Was that before or after all the world championships?

Chaz ....I was born here..Mother is French...stepfather is German...Uncle is
a Belgium citizen who was born in France....I lived in Germany until I graduated high school,
moved Belgium and lived with my Uncle...Uncle, my Mother and step father moved
to San Diego.....than Visalia to do Vineyards. At 19 I joined the Marines...went to Vietnam.
In 72 was discharged. Competed in Nationals In Germany and was a member of the Berlin
SchH club with my brother and stepfather. Until 1986, moved back to USA with my mother and stepfather.
Went to college and continued schH until 1998....moved back to Belgium stayed with my uncle. Switch
to FR ring.......2002 met Bart Bellon in Antwerp...Started NVBK....in 2005 moved to Nevada and bought a house.
I have won 6 world championships and 17 nationals....

I've heard alot of people questioning max on his lifes history. Sometime back I mentioned I was raised around Visalia. Max posted that he had lived there for sometime as a teen age kid. We talked at some length about people and the old neighbor hood. Everything he said was the truth, he not only knew alot of the same people I knew, but ran around with alot of the younger brothers that I did. I have never doubted his integrity as I heard all this before with no deviations.

             What do you not understand?....we moved from San Diego to Visalia.
They are vintners my family....this where they started vineyards.
Mostly in the San Joaquin Valley. When I was in Visalia I met the people
who Hank knew....Have a pickle and think about it awhile.
