Marco, thank you for taking the time to post the video. I would very much like to see a video of Geck in bitework. Where in Germany are you?

I still see the massive St Bernard head, and very thick heavy body, maybe fine for a showdog, but going around the ring is about all thats good for.
I just don't see what ya'll do. I see narrow rear, hocks are touching, a dog who looks like he is stomping or dog paddling around the ring (thought movement was supposed to be effortless, this dog looks like he is having to work for it) around the 2:32 mark, the dog looks like he is dragging his rear feet on the ground, not picking them up. again at 3:00 mark dog looks like its dragging its rear feet across the grass. only when the handler allows him to move ahead of him does he pick up the rear feet.
Tessy's rear does not look normal, neither does the bitch after her, from the stance the dog appears very cowhocked.Nilo again looks very cowhocked. I like Bella, but Endor is another massive St. Bernard looking pup, same with Thor, no wonder the ears have to have help standing. compare Ero's head with an Akita, bet they are a close match. and whats up with some of these pups rear legs?! (Sunnyland's Nino) looks like a munchkin cats legs, or a daschunds. Xella looks fine. weak pasterns or flat feet on pup at 8:46m.
granted I can't ever get used to the tight lead showing , distorts the dogs topline and does not show proper gait. but again, who am I to critque a top german VA dog, ya'll know what ya'll are doing.

Uber Land, I often disagree strongly with the digression of modern showlines, physically and mentally, when it interferes with working ability, health, and longevity.
However, on reading your very harsh criticism of others' dogs, I feel compelled to ask: Is this list correct? Are all of these dogs your breeding? www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/breeders/55.html I know sometimes the PDB is not entirely accurate.
If so, it may be worth your while to enter all their titles, KKL/HD/ED info for some of your breeding stock, lest others think you do not practice what you preach.

Had a look at the above link and was surprised to say the least. The dam of your" NANI"? is that hind angulation for real or is it just an extremely bad photo and stack? I do hope so as I can't believe she can be so extreme. I agree with KCzaja, it would be nice to have full information on pedigrees for those researching pedigrees.

the dam to Nani was owned by Judy Malone, Alt Ostland GSD. I was told the bitch was OFA pre. and she was sent to me already heavy in whelp along with another bitch heavy in whelp with a foot infection. Ms Judy Malone who was a PO was in trouble for having too many dogs in the city limits, and I thought I was helping her out. I ended up loosing lots of money, and being stuck with 8 of her dogs while she continued to import DDR dogs and continued to keep them in the city limits over her 3-4 dog limit.
Nani's mother died before the age of 4, she was at Jaspenhof kennel and they walked out and found her dead.

and yes those are my dogs, lots of them for the near 20 years I have had gsd, let me tell you. critique them, tear them apart all ya'll want. majority are over 8 years old or dead now. the black male Shank was CGC, TRUSAR AS II, AS III, NASAR ST II, sired only 1 litter, and over 1/2 that litter is now certifying SAR.
the pups shown were from an oops litter (sired by Nancy who is not of my breeding, neither is Laika, she came from a friend of Brashears gsd). majority were placed as pets without papers, I do have 1 male with a Dallas PO to replace her retiring male and will be showing, all pups had good drives, excellent temperments and decent conformation.
I didn't consider my critque harsh, he posted the video to prove/disprove what had been said about his dogs, not just by me, but by others, and it showed exactly what we commented about Geck. and the video/pictures show exactly what people complain about with the showlines, very overdone dogs, extreme rears, deep bodies

Ceila was a very lean lanky bitch, wasn't quite 2 when Judy allowed her to be bred, the litter was hard on her, and thats the only picture ever taken of her, it was a bad stack, if you want to see another pup from the litter, look at Laramies Maximus, and winningways has a male from him.

Wow, Sitasmom, thats all I can say. is that a real ad? or is someone just screwing around?
all the weight is carried in that dogs head (I've had rotties who would have been proud of that head) and front, his rear lacks muscle and I can def. see what they mean by instability in the rear. too bad a pedigree wasn't posted.
