I LOVE bicolors. So unique! So beautiful! So magnificent! Could be close enough to an all black dog, but still have another contrasted color in their coat. Love the stenciling and the tar heels. Gives the bi colors a little something special- oh man, can you tell I am in love? and just a tad biased? hehe

Pretty girl, vom Marischal!
Actually, head on though, she doesn't look as much like Capri. Different head shape and coat. Who is she bred to? PM me if you want....not trying to hijack;-)

I had a bi-color GSD...He was registered as black and tan...I don't think there was an entry for Bicolor on the form.
Prince:

He wasn't a dark bicolor, but he was a bicolor...Tar heels on front and rear, toe markings, and his ears didn't have any brown or tan on them at all...he did, though, have tan eyebrows and some on his chest...Inside of the thigh...Not on underside of body or between legs at all....
I love my black and tan girl, Oakley...But I love the darker colors...black and bicolors.
