Sue Worley

Don't we think this has all got out of hand now ?????? I was of the opinion that this show would be a super one to go to and have told my new puppy owners to check it out and be there. If Kerry and Sue have issues  those issues have no  place on this board and should be dealt with accordingly, I am taking no sides here because I don't know the full implications, but I do know that this tirade is not doing our breed any good or a show which should be supported to its' maximum in memory of a very special man .....

Tony Howson was a great guy one of the best and we should be doing our best to make this show as special as he was. So please stop all this silly bickering and put your time and effort into making this a show Tony would be proud of.

I was delighted to be asked to Judge the Longcoats at this show as I have stated above that is how I started and now I am a Championship Show judge who along with my husband have bred Champion German Shepherds. Perhaps a few more could do with remembering how they got started in this breed.

Sorry dont know what keeps happening to the posts as I send them, they seem to be dissapearing. One last time will try again.

Kerry taking two sections from your comments as you placed them above and in the BC magKerry,  taking two sections of your comments in your BC mag column as you have reprinted them above:-

ONE - "I must say, though, if Terry Hannan diddn't know Zamp was coming and I handled him, (I know, "in my dreams") would I have got BOB? Just a thought!

You didn’t think this comment was implying that Terry only recognized a dog as good as Zamp and therefore gave him BOB because of his handler??  "

TWO – "Our Rena came 5th which we were pleased with but couldn’t understand why, when Terry Hannan separated the class, he worked the front half of the class first and then did the second half of the class. Rena worked her way up from the second half but then could not try for a better placing as Terry Hannan had already done the first half, I thought a judge was supposed to work from the back first, placing dogs against each other working there way up to the front. Not to worry I suppose, but that is the way I would of judge”

And you didn’t consider this comment was questioning Terry’s ability to judge correctly or that you believed you could have done a better job yourself, (your own bitch being higher placed of course). If not, then your understanding of English certainly differs from that of Terry and mine (to name but two) . So when you visit your solicitor tomorrow, please take time to point out to him how my observations were taken solely from YOUR own written word.

Sue You didnt consider this comment was suggesting the judge was only capable of recognising a dog as good as Zamp because of his  handler?

My apologies to Paulie & Linda B for any hurt this may have caused either of you, certainly non intended on my part. Also to Sue Worley apologies for continuing after you ask me to stop but when people threaten legal action to me, I dont just lie down and take it, to my knowledge I have said nothing but the truth here, perhaps the truth hurts but at least its the truth and I have the guts to say it face to face and not just behind the peoples backs.  So shoot the messenger, Im past caring.

Kerry.Sue.All this mud slinging over a name for a class for long coats.what difference does it make whether its classed as a fun long coat class or just a class for long coats.I,m sure Tony wouldn,t want people to be slagging each other off.for pity sake its a dog show .i think these days one needs a bit of fun put back into showing and i for one do not think that its a bad idea of STEVE,S to try and involve more people .what harm is there in having classes for long and non standard colours. They happen and no one can help that.I ,ve had numerous long coated puppies and had a litter in which i had 2 blues,Pet people do like to show their animals and what ,s wrong with the league giving them the oppurtunity to do so and by adding the word FUN it indicates to them that these animals would not normally be placed at a proper show.Would you begrudge a pet owner from winning a red rosette.Maybe you,ve forgotten the thrill of winning your first rosette.I FOR ONE WOULD ENTER THIS SHOW IF I WAS ABLE TO GET THERE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT BUT AS THESE SHOWS ARE USUALLY OFF THE BUS /TRAIN ROUTES I PROBABLY WONT BE ABLE TO.I,also DO NOT SEE ANYTHING DETRIMENTAL WITH KERRY,S REPORT in the mag.with regards to Terrys judging.Girls ,i think its time to stop the bitching and agree to disagree.Life is too short for all this nastiness. No wonder people are leaving this breed.GOOD LUCK WITH THE SHOW .

Allo Linda, Your'e comments are welcome and important, I hope people remember your'e words, As in the film,  Wallace and Gromit, it's suposed to be a Grand Day Out!!!!!! I hope so!!  This all kicked of about long coats, any one who has bread litters has produced long coats, They are adorable and people love them so I'm sure you will do a great job, It will be great if you get one painted like Roy Wood from Wizard!! regards Bill.

Sue

Regarding the post from Steve.

Steve did not contact me asking me to post, He phoned concerning a different matter altogether.

It was me who brought the subject of the posts on the database, and as he was involved and knew what was happening regarding the show I suggested he let everyone on here know what was what.

It was me who suggested he send me a email to explain and I would post it..
