Golly gee, I thought my comments were pretty right on and light hearted. Have a hot toddy to lighten the load!

It is convenient that my new job HQ is in the same building as a restaurant/bar/night club/concert hall. Too bad I'm only in the office one or two mornings a month, they don't open till lunch, and we don't get discounts.
So, no toddy till pay day.
The good news is I can take my dog to work and the door between the office and the back stage area of the concert hall is never locked from our side. :-))))

We had a sprinter in Germany when we lived there. It was the ultimate dog vehicle. We could carry four crates in the back, as well as have a bench seat in the first row back passenger compt. It also could pull a travel trailer. We did not have any problems with it, plenty of power, and pretty good gas mileage as I recall. Wish we could have brought it back with us but at the time they didn't sell them over here. I still miss that van.

I have seen several of those at events. Everybody who owns one seems very happy with it. My only issue is that the windows behind the 2 front seats do not open, but they do come with a good rear a/c option.

I bought a dodge grand caravan about a year ago for dog travel. It's great, comfortable for me, big open and flat in the back for the dog crates. Rear A/C. Lots of other nice options. I get about 24 mpg hwy. The best feature is the back up camera. I usually have blankets, towels, extra clothes and such on top of the crates, totally blocking my view out the back. The camera takes away the worry of backing up blind.
Right now I can fit 3 crates and my gear in there. One crate is a huge Great Dane size one because one of my dogs is too tall and long to comfortably fit in a 500. I imagine 4 500's or the wire equivalent could fit in this van easily.
