There isn't a thing this idiot can say to make my decision any different. Once and idiot always an idiot. His website is full of all kinds of lies.
As for what I do from here all depends upon his willingness to make all this go away and I will not let up on him until I know in fact that our girl is being well taken care of. Best thing that could have happened is that he sold her cause anyone that would treat another fellow human like he does tells me that his actions toward animals would only be worse. I'm done trying to work with him and will go out of my way to make him understand that he is wrong. I wondered if he treated me like this what would he treat a client with a problem. He will never forget the kennel name Shepherds By Design K9 when I'm done with him.

He is not worth your time and effort, I would put your efforts into finding out if your girl is ok? Send a friend there to purchase a pup or dog and see if they can see her better yet purchase her "for thier breeding program". do you know if they follow craig's list, if so put in an ad for a request to purchase with her lines try and get him to call your friend to sell her.

Well its been over 2 weeks now and this idiot hasn't even tried to reply to my emails as I did direct him here to see if he would even comment on this female in question. But "Mitch McCormick of Guardian Angel Shepherds" has just seemed to drop off out of sight.

What a very weird situation. You handled it right though. I'm still sitting here wondering what they REALLY thought was going to be gained from the wife's initial email complaint?? I mean seriously we are A. talking about a dog they've had for a long time and all of a sudden it has aggression issues with the daughter?? Surely a dog that has "issues" just doesn't wake up one day and become vicious without previous warning signs. B. did they REALLY think you'd say "here's a check, keep the dog, sorry it wasn't what you wanted"??
Anyone in your position would have done the same thing. You asked to come evaluate the dog...you had a valid concern and interest since you were the breeder. I think personally you were too cooperative from the door by offering a refund without even confirming the dog HAD an "issue".
What a bunch of WACKO'S!! Maybe this email didn't even come from the people you sold this dog too and it was someone else just playing games with you?? Is that possible??
I just hope you can find out somehow what ever happend to the dog???

The email that I had recieved came from the the same email address that I had replied to so for someone else to be playing a trick on us is really ruled out. I totally understand what you mean about a dog just doesn't wake up one day with this problem and know that it was something that had to be done to her by the daughter to make her growl at her.
I think he does realize that by putting that threat in writing only opens the can of worms that can follow. I think he thought that I would just lay down and throw hundred dollar bills his way and by now he has realized that in fact just the opposite has happened.
The problem is I may never really know the whole truth as to their motive on all this

Like others, I was shocked to read this. Understandably very concerning, and in particular the living environment of this dog (and the others) with that family!
Did you have any 'breeding restrictions' on your puppy when you sold her? If so, you could keep a check on the Web Site if they were to breed with her without permission.
Also, could you approach a Solicitor, explain the situation, show the email communications and express your concerns, to find out if there is anything that could be done now or in the future?

`When dealing with Chuck (ghostly) Shepherds by design, you don't know who your dealing with, we bought a 11 month old female from them, when we got her home, we started seeing signs of neglect and abuse, she was scared to death of everyone. The reason why is that she was kept in small cubical and was never socialized at all , she was given food and water and no attention. We didn't want to bring her back to the place where she was abused, would you?Chuck had admitted that he had to many dogs to be able to take care of, 20 kept in a small garage connected to his house, and that she was kept back for breeding, but realized she had problems and sold her to us, without telling us she had major issues. We went up there again to check out the reasons why she was this way, his excuse was she was just kept for breeding and wasn't allowed again to see his breeding stock. We were told the 1st time that he had females in heat and and had very mean males, the next time was that he had sick dogs and didn't want us to carry the sickness back to our dogs, but it was OK for all his other dogs to be around them, lie after lie we were told. The smell and environment was disgusting and very unhealthy for the dogs and them to live in. It was easy to see that greed had over taken his priorities. The living conditions for his dogs and his self were as low as you can go.If you don't believe me go and see your self, hopefully by now he is taking extreme actions on properly taking care of them and his wife for her health.
As for where is the female Abby, she right here sleeping next to our bed, she is taken better care of then he takes care of his wife. And as far as money is concern, we have a very good income and a very healthy and happy family. My wife is a nurse and I have my own businesses. I was going to make a comment because I own a litter mate to Abby, but, I think that the above post and Terminator's web site, and the lieing in his email about the "Mike West investigation" really says it all.
