Jim, I'm not trying to convence you of anything. I am more than satisfied to watch you enjoy your dog.

Christopher,
You don't have to convince me of anything, I think we are in agreement for the most part on this.  I love Mali's and think they are great dogs.  I especially like the KNPV lines.  I just happen to think it's easy to find a really good GSD.  I would be more than satisfied to watch you enjoy your dog as well.

Oh no Yoshy, first you take my room in Montana, at Steph's place, now you want Boomer? No way man, you better come in swingin' this time.

I don't see the Mali trend in this area, Mals are "out" with the police and they are trying Dutchies or going back to the GSD.

That's 'cuz cops aren't trainers.  And, I've never seen a Dutch Shepherd that I'd want to own or even one that bit full.  Well, maybe Crash, sorry Billy you know he was the exception.

Phil,
Again you disappoint me.  I thought you knew more about dogs and training.  I guess I was giving you too much credit.  Many of the DS I've seen lately bite fuller and harder than many Mali's Ive seen.  Take off those rose colored glasses your wearing so you can see things for what they really are.    Don't worry I won't over estimate your abilities or intelligence again.

I can name some cops who are awesome trainers, how about Mike Diehl, Bernhard Flinks, Greg Monimee, Gerald Groos, etc..  But they are GSD guys so that doesn't count in your world does it?

4pack, you have first dibbs on Boomer.   But I still want your dog, did you come up with a price?

I'll give you Mike Diehl as he is a friend of mine.  So you can count the names of good ones on one hand is what you're saying?  What's with the etc., couldn't think of any more?  You can take Bernhard's name off of the list,,,,,,leave it at that.  Like I have said many times before, don't tell me, show me.  Seems to me another thread has gotten personal.  I believe I stated a strong case earlier with the bite work comparison of the DMC Korung and I don't recall anyone being able to refute it.  I think your tale of rose colored glasses should be reflected in your own mirror.  In fact, maybe a good lens cleaning is in order as I think your glasses are a bit cloudy.  I double dog dare you to find a show dog that bites like this, this is full. Would you like the list of guys who wouldn't work this dog?

Here is one showline male that I have seen trial in person. I saw him at the WDA Nationals several years ago.

Jim:

My Friend, It,s like arguing with Forest Gump... amusing at first but tedium finally over comes...  Nobody with any serious need for conversation or debate will compare working dogs to show dogs except for Phil (bless his soul) or use show line dogs to exhibit proper working abilities.

There is no problem finding a good working GSD any other comment is just showing stupidity or the need to hear ones self blather on... Hey Phil, Is life really like a box of chocolates ???

Thera are good GSD,s as there are Mali,s or Dutchies... and there not in short supply...
