who exactly was it that informed PETA, is it in the transcripts, can we all make combined effort to "shun" this person?

this person should be shunned industry wide, and by every pet owner in the world!

Mystere,
Thanks for posting.  This is a classic example of someone that is far more concerned with their own personal vendetta that they will sacrifice the entire dog world.  Peta is like a virus that looks to attach itself to any weak link, and these are the type of open wounds that they migrate towards.

I wouldn't go to PETA if my neighbors barbequed the family pets every weekend!

This is not to say that I support animal abuse, quite the contrary.  I adopted a sweet, blind puppy from Montana GSD Rescue, mostly because I simply fell in love with her, and because I love the GSD.

And just last Friday, I saw a beautiful, sweet, black and red male GSD in the local shelther, looking for a new home, one I briefly considered, but decided not to because I have two dogs already, and that's enough for me.  The shelter is a no-kill, so I am not worried for his future.

Why, you ask, did I make my opening statement?  Simply put, PETA is not an enforcement group, and should never be given such power.  All 50 states have laws on the books governing animal abuse, and therefore, PETA's involvement is completely unnecessary.  PETA's own website states that ALL breeders are detrimental to the dogs, because as long as puppies are produced, shelter animals will die.  What is a shelter animal?

According to PETA, the only responsible breeder is one that comes to their senses, gets their breeding stock spayed or neutered, and gets out of the business.  If breeders 'got out of the business', we'd have shelters still full of dogs, but they'd all be mixed breeds!

I don't know Mr. Curry.  I have never met him, nor have I ever seen his kennels.  I have seen his website.  I think his prices are far too high, as is the volume of dogs he produces.  Already toward the end of the alphabet and it's only July?  He will not call a liver a liver, or a blue a blue, but that is his choice, and if a customer is willing to pay him $2500 or more for a dog that a smaller breeder would tell the truth about and sell for less, then that is between him and his customers.

You know what the old saying is:  "A fool and his money are soon parted".

If Wayne is abusing, or neglecting his dogs, and the paychecks are so poor, then I wonder why more people haven't come forward to launch complaints.

As to the lawsuit or lawsuits against him, all I can say is, "may justice be served."

I did not want to pull this thread up again, however I wanted to say that I am very pleased to see that there are many that recognize Peta for what it is and how cunning, deceptive, dishonest, clueless, mean spirited and absalute looney.  Micky D said it well.  Sometimes I feel like I am the only one harping of the dangers of Peta and the rest of the A R groups.  It is going to take a very dedicated effort on the part of dog fanciers, breeders, trainers, owners to fight this virus.

Teresa, I will not say how I feel about your actions or your thought process.  I do not want to be mean, as I feel you are like many in this country that turn to Peta and the other AR groups.  I will only use three words to describe your actions, naive, misguided and very self rightous.  I truly hope you will listen to some of the people on here that know what love for our animals really means.
Sincerely,
O.S.
