People can make it as technical and complicated as they like.  The bottom line is, When 2 posters using different handles on the same message board assist each other in cyber warfare against the same foe, have the same AOL IP# on the same Thread, on the same day, its the same person. If Walter no longer has AOL, and has switched to Hughes.net, then he will have a new IP#. It will be interesting to see how many of the new posters have the same IP#.

Walter is interested, because he knows his ass is busted. I love the feigned innocence "Now if one of those is somehow tied in wtih AOL, then my bad."

The IP#'s don't give a persons name or physical USPS address, but they reveal a whole lot about what is going on regarding a message board.

Abhay, you are just too much.  You admit to having dual personalities here, then admit to having more than half a dozen personalities here.  You also have stated that your wife is a frequent poster here (yea, like you even have a real female in your life).  And you have the audicity to accuse me of having another identity here.  HaHa.

Okay.  I am going to admit just like you did.  I am everybody on this site, except for those that you are.

There.  I guess I am no longer busted.  I am just like you.

Can't wait for those IP numbers to come up again.  petlover, er, ah, Capt, er, ah, FunkMan, er, ah, funkymunky, er, ah, GetReal, er, ah, Abhay.  Oh heck.  This is just to much work, for little amusement.

You are the one busted my friend : Quotes from you Abhay:

"Oli is well aware of all the handles I use."         and

"I have admitted to being a Character, with the maturity of a 13yr old boy.  I would imagine that people would be surprised, if I didn't have half a dozen handles.

Under any handle, I have always tried to be either informative or comical. The only person I have ever really had cross words with is you. No matter what handle I have used, I tried to be respectful, unless pushed. "

Well, we agree on one thing.  You do have the maturity of a 13 year old.

you're wrong, or at least not necessarily and certainly right. :)

When a member requests multiple documents for multiple URLs, each request may come from a different proxy server. Since one proxy server can have multiple members going to one site, webmasters should not make assumptions about the relationship between members and proxy servers when designing their web site.

Q. Can I use the IP address of the request to track a member's access to my site?

A. No. Because AOL uses proxy servers to service the requests made by members, webmasters see the IP address of the gr server, not the DAHA of the member in their web site log files. The problem with trying to use the IP address to track access is that there may easily be multiple members assigned to a proxy server. All of the member requests would appear to be coming from one member if you assumed a relationship between member and IP address. In addition, members may be reassigned to a different proxy server during a session.

I run a website and have seen a friend of mine that uses AOL that I know is on my site and on AIM with me at the same time and his IP changes every time he goes to a new page! Thousands of people (or more!) use the same AOL IP number at any given moment, it practically is anonymous.

Walter, I have stated that my wife posts here, but seldom. I am Abhay and CaptMike, but none of the other handles you mention. It will all come out.

I never address you. I despise you, so I try to keep a distance. Pit Bulls are one of my breeds. I don't like it when a "Bait Dog" Thread comes up anywhere. I would have never replied to the thread. You came on said thread and had to call me out (per usual). Now, you did this a while back, then cried and pled your case to the board, about how mean and low I was to mention the fact, that you are a Nana's Boy.  Now you are a disturbed little fellow, but if you continue with the insults, I am going to do something that will upset you very much.

Abhay, wonderful picture of your daughter and the owl.  What a nice story.

by petlover on 03 July 2008 - 19:07

are you saying 'fear no one' is a man named walter? I guess the momma's boy thing might explain my certainty that was a woman. ahahaa

by Abhay on 03 July 2008 - 19:07

Thank You Animules!  My little girl, had some wonderful times, and a lot of hands on experience with wildlife at our old place.

by petlover on 03 July 2008 - 19:07

now I too am starting to think you're a little odd and do seem to be talking to yourself. "Pit bulls" are one of your breeds huh... I notice you too ignore when you're wrong and it is shown right to you plain as day.

by Abhay on 03 July 2008 - 19:07

lolol Petlover, You wouldn't know a bulldog from a bullfrog. If you aren't Walter, then you are PETA. Maybe both!!
