Zafra, I truly apologize if I misread your statement - would you be so kind as to clarify it for me?  I'm still remembering a very recent threat about people in Asian countries selling dogs for food and I know their brains are probably a delicacy, but mine are not "food grade".

clewsk9s--- I agree with you...i read it a few times and i can't figure it out either....maybe he/she was just making a joke? i don't know but its pretty weird... reminds me of the shows 'faces of death' have you ever seen that? on one of them, some people in another country, eats dogs like we do chicken....ughh, i was gonna tell yall about what it showed but i cant even bring myself to repeat it.....all i will say is that it was one of the most awful things ive ever seen......

Yeah, there was a thread on here a few weeks ago (could'a been a month) that had a link to a site and that's the first thing I thought of - then thought maybe they had misspelled so I checked their posting history and this was only their 2nd thread posted on. Clew..its monkey brains they eat in china & parts of Asia.   They do eat dog,  but its the meat not the organs... I dont think she wants to eat your pups with chop sticks anytime soon. 

It was only a compliment. If you speak other languages there can be a barrier in translation. Thats all it was.

Hi Clews; No worries, not too mmany people understand that statement. What do I mean by shepherd brains. Exceptional, loyal true to heart workable, extremely majestic beautiful mans true best freind. I am an avid lover of the breed and just love how they think, their stance when bred properly and raised with and to what they should be. The true dog of sweet intellagence. Yup! Thats were I am at. By the way I am not a troll. LOL Those things aren't too nice and or good looking and I am. Just a made a funny. But anyhow back at the ranch what would you be asking for them? Zafra

Hey Ug (this will be my new abbreviated name for you given affectionately) - a jump to conclusion thing - do zafra and I have a language barrier or is it just zafra's shorthand? LOL

Well zafra, apology for troll assumption (the ass part, me....)  Welcome to PDB land of Oz, I mean Oli....who happens to be the best and just helped me out the other day...thanks Oli.

zafra, Are you new to the board?, if so, do you have any gsd's?  Show us all some pics if you do.  Also, please add an 's to the end of shepherds next time, instead of "shepherd brains" put "shepherd's brains" . 

And I am 100% with you - this breed rocks!  Had dobies, rotties, chows, and shepherds in adulthood, grew up with a shepherd who saved my life - love the other breeds too but the shepherd have the brains  hands down.  They analyze things and problem solve like none of the other breeds I mentioned.  My girl really, really listens to me and is sooo loyal and intuitive.  Can't say enough - we all love the breed here!

ANYHOW ABOUT ME! I HAVE HAD MANY GSD'S IN MY LIFE ONES THAT WERE WELL BRED AND OTHER'S THAT WERE JUST GOOD AS PETS. WE HAD ONE THAT HATED MY HUSBAND TO THE EXTREME HE ( HUBBY WAS NOT WELCOME ANYWHERE IN THE HOUSE OR NEAR ME) TOO FUNNY! BUT GIVEN ALL THAT THE DOG EVEN THOUGH HE HATED THE GUY HE'S SAVE HIS BEHIND IN A FIRE! THIS DOG ENDED UP ONE OF CANADA'S BEST POLICE K-9 DUAL PURPOSE DOG. YEAH HE SURE DID A GREAT JOB AND THAT'S WHY I LOVE THE BREED TO DEATH. HIS KIDS WENT TO FOLLOW HIS PATH AND NOW I AM LOOKING FOR A FEW MORE TO GET THERE TOO. JUST LOVE THE DANG BREED!
