Echo you are so right. I was never a K-9 officer but being in patrol I got to see them work quite a bit. I'm female 5'3 and at the time about 105 lbs with all the equipment on I think a 2 yr old could out run me. But any time I called K-9 for a runner they got them. Some bites more sweet then others. I loved to watch them subdue people how cool. And my favorite dog was Rex he was the one that showed me this is the kind of dog I want, When he was working he was working but when he was out and done what he was supposed to be doing he was a goof, Bless his heart he died of cancer, His handler and family are heartbroken. So here's a shout out to Rex VBPD rest in peace and thanks.
