<>I am sorry to hear of this tragic event. Unfortunately you will most likely not get anything out of this cop or the city. They are immune to cases like these. Your dog was property and nothing more. We had a similar incident happen here in Missouri and the lazy ass cop got away with it.
You can make the city and cop uneasy by keeping this in the news. I would love for you to find out the name and email address of your police department and your local paper. Let other people write to them with their outrage.
