oh yeah i have this stuff in an automatic dispenser on my deck....it sprays every 30 min. It is great for killing flies......had no idea it was toxic to cats...

When we first arrived in Texas from Colorado, all our cats became infested with fleas. I treated the property with the permethrin, then I went and bought this Happy Jack Flea Spray. I just drenched all the cats with this spray. It was loaded with Permethrin. The cats all lived, so go figure. That was before I learned, Permethrin is Toxic to cats. I don't know, but now, I would be hesitant to use the full strength Permethrin on a Kitty.

There are warnings on the label for cats, I figured it was for a reduced dosage.

Abhay, you have 35 dogs?? LoL And I get in trouble for having 3 and 1/2.. I use the permethrin livestock stuff.. It's concentrated, so you can mix it like a dip or spray. I get it at Tractor Supply, it's pretty cheap, like $7.. I've used it on my cats, I dipped them.. It gave one the shakes, lasted for few hours, then he was fine.. I dilute it more when I put it on cats, but haven't killed any yet... But I guess every animal reacts differently to pesticides..

oh good....i was worried that some mist may have gotten on dog beds where our outside cat walks through sometimes.....hell if erin dipped hers and its still alive i think mine will be fine with some diluted mist...LOOOL..

Yea fleas are so bad where we live that I dip the cats regularly.. They will infest and tear up an animal.. The dogs are on trifexis, and we treat the yard, but living in the woods on 20 acres, it's difficult to get them all.. I've never seen fleas like the ones down here.. Mutant inbred hillbilly vermin..
