My dog is my first line of defense. They alert me to anything suspicious and my GSD will attack if necessary. If needed my gun will take car of the rest, so I like having both.

i know this is a dog forum but if i had to make one choice between a dog and a gun to defend myself presumably in the context of the conversation against someone trying to kill me with a gun, seems like a no brainer, give the freaking gun and a full clip. can't see how this is even a debate and i like dogs.
