Maybe take the help offered by some here... the rest of the people can go and shove their heads to the toilets..

aaykay.. Ithere is nothing wrong with altering a dog... many people disagree but many people rather do that than contribute to the local kill shelters!

What area is the dog located in? I have offered to take her as well as pay shipping if there is no one else that will take her. Surely the dog owner cannot object to that.

Is there a full moon or something? What is going on with all these crazies and their dog issues? Holy cow....this dog is in great hands compared to the poor dog Joanro bred...this is terrible.  Let's try to get this one out before it ends up like the other one. I don't care one bit about the "whys" of any of it UNTIL THE DOG IS SAFE. Then, hopefully the people will get the help they so desperately need.

I sent about 3 emails to the dog's owner, the woman, her name is Amy.  I never communicate with the husband, but he is an NCO and as far as I know he was not overseas.  I don't know where they are living now, she said they were moving some months ago, but said they didn't know where he would be stationed.  I sent her info on hip xrays, positioning, the link to the video one person here provided.....she has stopped replying to any emails.  I did a bit of research on the internet, they are from Texas and it appears she might have originally been from Maryland.....which would explain why she didn't have a Texas accent.  Can't find any real internet presence for her though, not on facebook, nowhere.  I tried in the emails to convince her to have other xrays taken and get an OFA opinion before accepting whatever vet told her the dog would have a life of suffering.  All I hear now is silence....no reply.   that is not good, is it?  I do agree that something about the photos looks odd and the one where the dog is in a driveway it looks like she's wearing 2 collars???  I met her at an obedience class and saw the husband and kids once.  She talked a lot about a male pup she was supposed to get from someone in Oklahoma for only the cost of shipping.  When I asked which breeder, she refused to say and said "nobody you would know."   I'm pretty sure she has stopped communicating with me at this point because I did not agree with her.
