Glad I was a bright spot in your day beetree :)  I should be such a bright spot in my own sometimes!

Thanks YR, awesome pics!  Rado is looking good and Abby as sweet as ever!  She is one awesome bitch, I should have hidden her in my luggage when I left, but I didn't want a gun-totin' Texan on my tail!

YR, that picture of the small birds is so beautiful
Melba, those pictures strengthen the faith in one's heart.
GSDtravels: Hi and remain safe.
Jyl: that cell phone must be a very expensive one/or user is a professional photographer !!

I planted this tree in my home's small garden, look closely and you'll see the first pieces of Apricots.

by beetree on 14 May 2012 - 01:05

Ibrahim, I love apricots! I see them.  My grandma in New Mexico had an old apricot tree and would put up jars of them. They were so good! I tried to grow an apricot tree in her memory but I don't seem to have the right climate.

I'm still working on the Pango-mobile. I put some new charcoal leather bucket seats, and custom floor matts in yesterday. Just waiting for the spare tire cover and it's done. The picture below is how the spare tire cover is supposed to look. Will post a few pics when completed.

LOL, that is cool! Can't wait to see the whole effect.

Here is our tire cover....

Pools open, you'll have to make time for a CT roadtrip, bring the family and the dog. We just fired up the spa last night to see if it works, and all systems are working. Well, except for the light in the spa, some thing's not working, but we'll get it fixed, I promise!

LOL Bee,

Maybe in the fall too many things going on right now. Thanks for the invite.

I love that spare tire cover, is that the lifeguard? Or the pool boy?

by beetree on 25 May 2012 - 22:05

No problem Ninja, we keep it open late into the season.

Yeah we love that cover. That's generally the mood of my DH (pool boy) when he cleans out the filters and finds it full of dog hair!  I know nuthin' about it! Someone, certainly not me, keeps forgetting to use the bungie cords on the gate.  I did tell you he can open it, from the outside, and the inside, now?

We used to have arguments over who kept leaving the gate open. And at first he'd go in and get stuck inside. We'd hear this calm but loud, WOOF.... with a wait.....and then another..... WOOF!  And there he'd be trapped, saying, hey get me out of here! The following year he figured how to push it the other way open. He's one smart dog. At least I have a built in excuse for when I actually let him swim, (when DH isn't around, of course!) LOL
