It does not matter what you feed dogs over here in Belgium, all dry Kibble is very expensive,
I do wonder why i keep dogs some times, one gone and looking out for another to take her place probably end of May, i must be going mad or senile in my old age

I have been using Orijen.  It is a very good food and the coat on the my female looks great! She loves it.

My male cannot tolerate this food, so he is on the Nature's Select Large breed.

Jon Eric,
I like that name, it reminds me of some one.
Dry kibble ....always read the ingredients list on the back of the bag...
example...

Natural Balance dry dog food is less expensive than premium brands, but it has
top-quality ingredients. Meats and meat meals, including chicken, lamb and salmon,
are joined by brown rice, oatmeal and barley.

Price $30 for 15lbs

But keep in mind to use your dollar wisely and look for meat deals in the market...no pork!

The biggest problem with kibbles are the chemicals they use to keep the food from getting
rancid.  Meat and fat which are the most important thing in your dogs diet, but require more
chemicals for a preservative.

The best diet is a mix of kibble (with low toxins) and fresh meat and fat from the butcher on occasion.
hope that helps.

Has anyone tried Nature's Domain--sold at Costco?  It is the generic version of TOTW and is made by Diamond.  I called my Costco and they sell the salmon formula for around $33 for a 35 pound bag:  http://www.naturesdomainpetfood.com/about-natures-domain  .  I haven't tried it yet, but am thinking about it since I now feed Diamond Naturals to my dogs.

Natures Domain is OK, I give it to some of my dogs with good results. I use the turkey and sweet potato, it has a bit less protein.
