She has a few dog bites, so her husband has to stay home and miss work to take care of her?  And it hurt worse than childbirth?

I can't wait until she tells the jury that he had to wipe her ass for her for six months too.  What a crock.

Your comments are disgusting.

Her behavior is more disgusting.

.....right .....easy for you to judge and make disgusting comments -- while you are pain-free and able to easily walk around and do whatever you want and not be bedridden -- especially at this time; just a week before Christmas......You are a mean-spirited individual.

"Bedridden" from a few dog bites?

I wasn't "bedridden" when I was seven years old and broke my kneecap into two pieces and had to wear a cast all summer long.  My late mother was up and moving around in the ICU and not  "bedridden" the day after she had lung cancer surgery to remove an entire upper lobe last year.  My SO wasn't "bedridden" after breaking six ribs this fall - instead, she went right off to her teacher's job where she walks up and down two flights of stairs ten times per day.  And this was two weeks after she sprained her ankle in the lunchroom when she slipped on some spilled peas - she didn't miss a day from that injury either.

So suck it up lady, a few puncture wounds is no excuse to lay around in bed all day - unless, of course, you're milking the situation looking for $$$.

Don't forget, I'm a lawyer and run into malingerers like this every time I'm in court.  They do pretty well walking from the parking lot, and then as soon as they get to the courthouse door they start wobbling like they're having a stroke or something.  Cha-ching!

I don't believe you are a Lawyer.    Maybe a paralegal, but that's it -- at best.

I had one broken rib a couple of years' ago and was in a lot of pain.   I had a hard time walking.   So, your SO must be "SUPER WOMAN" -  whoo, hoo !!

I don't believe you broke a rib! Maybe just bruised it--at best.

Maggie...you should go to the woman for moral support and maybe be a star witness for dog behavior ....I bet you will be rewarded...you may just have to wait till after the settlement... :)

You will get in the middle of you dogs fight?  I will personal let my dogs finish the fight dominance will be established by one of the dogs.  The other one wont cause S*it again.

I believe the Shepherd would have let go of the terrier and the fight would have been over.  The lady made it worse by attacking the dog.

This lady is injured we all know but i doubt she is bedridden.

A few years ago I unloaded my GSD in front of my House a young man in his twenty's was walking down the side walk my dog ran to him he grabbed the dog around the neck, the dog pulled away and scathed him behind the ear, he was bleeding but refused medical attention, he was so high on drugs he had no idea what was happening, anyway this person collected $7000.00 from my homeowners insurance company I was never contacted as to what happened, also lost my insurance unless i got rid of the dog..
