Great video.

Where was the shock collar?  Must have been hidden.   ; )

Nice video but personally my taste for good horse/human communication comes in dressage.

Such as This

DJ,
I am saying don't give an unruly dog a soft landing. Some people like
Phil want say that l am saying to kick them in the sternum if they jump up
on you. Thats is not even a bad training option. IT is an overdramatization,
to make it sound like I condone kneeing as a practice. I say don't give them a
soft place to land, and it will no longer be something they enjoy.

You should always protect your dog from abuse or injury.

To early for a witch hunt just yet.

FH,
My favorite is Kyra Kyrklund, in my opinion she is best dressage trainer there is.
I have her tapes on communication between horse and rider. Very good.

Now if I can come up with $ 65,000. for a nice German Warm Blood. I will be
ready to start training. This lady is good no matter what kind of training you do.

Abhay,
You have my respect,....that is none-other than Bill (Super foot Wallace). He was
a knockout artist. That's not the guy you want to fight for your first or 100th fight. His roundhouse
kick is still legendary. Those were the days, Bill Wallace,.. Joe Louis,.. Benny the Jet,... Chuck Norris.
I trained with Young Kim, in the 70's. Him and Dave put on the first World Fed Taekwondo Championship
inthe USA..( Phil's neck of the woods).. Chicago Illinois, in 1977.

Are you talking to me?  I wasn't responding to anything you said. Sorry for the confusion.

Max,
I need to dig up my pictures of Bill "Superfoot" Wallace when I met him and trained with him. He was incredible and could do a three minute round on a speed bag with one leg.  He had a perfect combination of roundhouse, hook kick and side kick with that "Superfoot."  He was amazing to watch.   He loves Cheeseburgers and I have pictures with him, James Demille, Remy Pressas at my Deli / Restaurant in NY after training.  I also did Tae Kwon Do with John Chung.  I trained full contact in the 80's and Tae Kwon Do and Jiu Jitsu in the 90's.

DJ,
I did not no what you meant. You said you did not see an ecollar on the horse.
I thought I had better explain my self better so people knew I was not advocating
striking, kneeing, kicking, or slapping a puppy. Some people who are like 6'6" might not
be short enough to do this well... I don't know. It does not hurt the puppy it just don't feel that good.
It's more uncomfortable for them to do and has no pay off for that jumping up on people behavior.

When I first started training Nicky ( my horse) she was a wild child and would run me into
the rails in the arena. So my trainer told me next time she does that point her
nose right into the rail. I thought oh no not my baby!!!. But next time she did that
I tried what she said and Nicky did not hit the rail but her nose came real close
and sure enough she back away from the rails. Nicky is smart and knows what she is doing.
