Here there's a county-wide additional fee on rabies vacs for intact animals.

You also can't take an animal to get their rabies vaccine in a different county from the one you reside. It was supposed to coerce people to alter their pets. All its done is increase the number of dogs running around without current rabies vaccines.

"I get charged $150 fee per rabies shot because I allowed my dog to keep all the equipment he was born with. How silly of me!"

That's crazy.  I would be going to a different vet or a shot clinic.

I'm considering building a solid wall around my property,  mostly just to piss off the neighbors.

GSDSRULE...uh, it's a state & county fee. No vet clinic would get away with that privately.

jc.carroll- you're absolutely right. I only keep this one current b/c of his surly attitude, lol.  Can't wait for that rabies challenge fund to publish their findings on exactly how long that shot lasts! Oh, won't that kill the revenue- yearly shot, PLUS $150 "intact fee" all go down the drain if they can convince vets and drug companies to change the current protocol.

Moons, that's my dream. Only my dream includes a moat and an alligator.

Well it didn't work for the Chinese, the wall idea.

If we are to play the game by the rules then we need lobbyists.
Change policy.

I dunno, I'm pretty fed up with the world and most people in it.

Maybe I should build the wall to protect the outside world from me.

I have a brand new box of strike anywhere matches....lol

I think it should be illegal for governmant to tell me what I have to do. ( If I am not hurting anybody.)
What a novel idea. Maybe that is why I am Libertarian.
